When school is cancelled or dismissed early, there will be no community education activities. Field/weather conditions are checked about one hour before an activity is to begin. Students who have completed driver education classroom or behind the wheel hours --  call the office (283-4724) prior to coming in to pick up your blue or white card to make sure the office is open.  At the present time the closest testing sites are Marshall & Fairmont.  (5/26/20)

WAIT until June 22 to Register for Summer Larger Group Activities to see IF Governor Walz allows.  We hope to offer many June activities the month of July.  Watch for new dates to be announced.  (The late fee will not apply this year.)

Classroom Driver Ed Details  (Only Class held this summer)
June 8 – 19 class  -- AM Class 9-Noon  PM Class 1-4

Due to the continued focus on social distancing, classroom driver education this summer at Luverne will be done through distance learning.  The classroom will be held on Google Classroom, and each class will be held every day on Zoom.  In order to meet the state requirement of 30 classroom hours, each student will be required to be on the Zoom meeting from the moment the class starts until it ends.  Your child will need to attend during the morning or afternoon time as they registered.  Materials will be posted on Google Classroom and assignments will be collected there as well.  Any questions or concerns can be directed to the instructor, Mr. Brian Snyders.  You may call, text, or email (605-940-9387;

 The free parent class will be offered via Zoom.  There is still time to register for the June 8, 7:00 - 8:30 pm class—please do so prior to June 8.  Email – Give your full name for the class, plus include the first, middle, last name of your child and your child’s birthdate.  Your official parent certificate needs to include that information.

Head Lice Policy -- Remember the best defense is to check your child's head regularly. If your child had head lice while at a Com Ed activity, please let our office know. After treating the head lice your child may return to activities.
