Luverne Community Education is excited to welcome Rachel Maag to the team! Rachel will be taking over for Dana Hoogendoorn, who will be greatly missed. We wish Dana all the best on her next journey and sincerely thank her for her dedication and service to the community.

Rachel is a native Minnesotan who recently returned to the area after spending the last seven years in Florida. She graduated from South Dakota State University with a degree in Sociology and earned her MBA from National American University. Her background includes experience in both higher education and elementary education, with a focus on administrative and student support.

Rachel is also a proud mom of three children who attend Luverne Elementary School, giving her a special connection to the community. She looks forward to getting to know the Luverne community and supporting the many programs, classes, activities, and opportunities offered through Community Education.
