What are Certified Nature Explore Classrooms?

Certified Nature Explore Classrooms are dynamic, nature-based play and learning spaces. Nature Explore Outdoor Classroom Design Services apply research-based, field-tested design principles to create these nature-rich outdoor spaces that can be located anywhere a school, child care center, park, or other community site might have a traditional playground.  To become certified, groups must create a well-designed outdoor space and staff has to commit to staff development and family involvement.   Each year classrooms must be recertified.

Engraved pavers are available for purchase to honor a child, a family, a business, a favorite teacher, a daycare provider, a grandparent, etc.  Monies received from sales of the pavers will go towards ongoing upkeep and improvements at the classroom located on the southwest corner of the school campus.  Engraved bricks are $100/brick.  Order 2 pavers and receive a 3rd free.  Order Here
